Are you passionate about achieving excellent design in buildings and places in Birmingham and the West Midlands region?

MADE, the regional architecture centre for Birmingham and the West Midlands, charity no 1116625, wants to expand its Board of Directors, which acts as its Trustees. If you think you could be an effective board member, committed to our organisational values as we increase our activities in Birmingham city centre, we would very much like to hear from you.

We will be readdressing the recruitment of new board members in the autumn and are particularly keen to hear from applicants with expertise in the following areas: legal, charity, organisational change and innovation, property development, strategy, sustainable neighbourhoods, the construction industry, human resources, finance, health and social entrepreneurship.

Applicants need to be able to demonstrate a good track record of achievement at Board level or experience of having worked at a senior level within an organisation.

MADE’s board is intended to reflect the diverse communities of Birmingham and the West Midlands region. We value and promote diversity and we particularly want to hear from black and minority ethnic communities and young people (over the age of 18) who are at an early stage in their career.

Board members will normally be expected to live and/or work in the West Midlands region but applicants from outside the region, who can demonstrate a good knowledge of the West Midlands and a passion for design excellence, will also be considered.
