To meet it, we need to find new ways to make our city greener, fairer and more beautiful The Birmingham climate change festival runs from Saturday 31 May – Sunday 8 June 2008. It features exhibitions, events, art and fun for everyone. It will help you to see your city with new eyes. Why are cities so important? Because the environmental crisis is largely a result of the way we’ve designed our cities. Half of all carbon emissions come from the places we have built.
