MADE re-organises for design excellence

MADE is re-aligning its services to provide a more focussed response to the challenge of promoting excellent place-making in the West Midlands.

For the past two years MADE’s regional Design Review and Design Enabling services have operated through two complementary, but separately managed, panels of expert practitioners.

MADE has now amalgamated the management of these two services creating a new role of Head of Design Excellence.  This will allow us to provide a unified service which will improve the way we work, providing streamlined communication and advice through one department which will also be supported by a new marketing and communications function. David Tittle (previous Design Enabling Manager) has been appointed Head of Design Excellence and will take up his post on 13th July 2009. The Design Review and Design Enabling panels will continue to operate as normal.

The success of our Design Review Service is a result of the hard work of Julie Morgan (current Design Review Manager) who has successfully established MADE as one of the leading regional design review services, assisting many organisations. Whilst Julie is now leaving MADE for pastures new, we will continue to liaise with her and we hope to be working together in the future.
