The urgency to move our cities to a much lower dependency on fossil fuels is growing because of the UK legal obligations for emissions reduction and the economic concerns over the impact of shortage of oil from around 2015.This seems daunting but Peter will present an approach to transform a city like Birmingham by 2050, working with neighbourhoods and communities. He will outline delivery models and sources of finance and the possible benefits in terms of creating long term jobs and improving health and well being. He will emphasise the need for leadership, planning and good management  Practices.

Cost: £10.00 per lecture (includes VAT) - no charge to students.
