It was back in 2008 that a scheme from the West Midlands made the shortlist for the national Housing Design Awards with both Park Central and Beetham Tower in Birmingham making the grade that year.  The last winner was Telford’s Millennium Community at East Ketley back in 2007.  Over the years the performance of the West Midlands in these awards has been poor.

We are sure that our region must be capable of designing exemplary housing schemes and now is the time to prove it.  Nominations for 2012 the Housing Design Awards close on March 1^st.  Details here.
