With the Localism Act now law and its provisions expected to come into effect in April, communities all over the West Midlands are considering whether a neighbourhood plan would benefit their area.

MADE is supporting a number of groups of residents to explore the benefits of neighbourhood planning.  Working with Locality, one of the four support providers funded by DCLG, we are helping two neighbourhoods in North East Birmingham as well as communities in London and Sussex.  Meanwhile we are working alongside the Prince’s Foundation to bring residents and businesses together in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter to plan the future of that unique neighbourhood.
