Stiirchley prospects a project helping local residents explore the past, present and future of this Birmingham suburb is now underway. The project which is being led by Place Prospectors is located at 1427 Pershore Road, Stirchley,
Birmingham in the heart of the commercial area. Stirchley Prospects is working with local residents, businesses and organisations looking at routes, economics, empty spaces and shops at a time of change, to deliver a plan for the future. The project will include temporary artworks and events, a Stirchley produced magazine, and an exhibition with local people.
Place Prospectos is a community interest company run by Jayne Murray and Emma Larkinson. Emma is a member of MADE's expert panel and the Place Propspectors project, which is now funded by the Arts council and Heritage Lottery Fund was initiated through some pump-priming support from MADE.
