Celebrate The Art of Architecture during this major new season at The Public. A new series of exhibitions, events and activities will look at how artists engage with the built environment and how they influence the world around us.
Exhibitions include video work from acclaimed film makers Harrison and Wood, suspended sculptural forms from Heather and Ivan Morrison, and photography from Andy Day and Rick Davies. The season starts with an evening talk by Will Alsop, the architect behind The Public, on Thursday 26th January. (To attend email exhibitions@thepublic.com).
The young people MADE is supporting through Arts Award have been helping architect Will Alsop with his new 3D exhibition, called 'A box of delights', which opens at The Public on 27th January.
We have also commissioned artist Rich White to create a temporary artwork outside The Public during February half-term (13-15 February).
And we are preparing a photographic exhibition with Birmingham, Walsall and Coventry residents, on What Makes A Good Place which will run from 12th March until 26th March.

Great to see The Public and MADE providing an effective stage for the arts, architecture and young people. Media apprentices based in the building have just produced a cracking trailer film for my architectural novel, Arden. Click to play trailer: http://t.co/SGxVlmrf
