11 delegates from across Europe, working in the field education are visiting the region to learn about young entrepreneurs and the education system from a UK perspective.

MADE is hosting a week long study visit where participants will learn about initiatives to teach entrepreneurship and business development to young people, teaching skills which encourage entrepreneurship, support mechanisms for novice young entrepreneurs and Birmingham's growing creative and digital industries.

The programme includes visits to schools to meet teachers and students involved in small businesses, visits to new creative businesses run by young people and meeting organisations which encourage and support young entrepreneurs.

The delegates include directors of education and vocational training institutions, centres or providers, heads of departments, pedagogical or guidance advisers, representatives of local, regional and national authorities, academic and researchers.

The visit is part of the Life Long Learning Programme run by the European Commission
